Hermes Conversation Monitor

Lightweight C++ web UI to monitor Hermes Agent conversations, tool calls, and performance metrics.

Features

  • Dashboard with key metrics (sessions, messages, tool calls, TPS, success rate)
  • Browse sessions by platform/date
  • View message history with performance details
  • Tool call tracking
  • REST API for programmatic logging

Build

mkdir build && cd build
cmake ..
make

Config

Copy and edit config:

cp config/db_config.example.json config/db_config.json

Run

./hermes_conversation_monitor config/db_config.json

Access at: http://localhost:8080

API

POST /api/message — log a message (JSON body) POST /api/tool-call — log a tool call (JSON body)

Dependencies

  • MariaDB Connector/C++ or libmariadb
  • C++17
  • httplib (single header)
  • nlohmann/json
